In the UK the high beam flash is used all the time to signal to rirveds ahead to merge or to cross the road. Also it's used to when a car stops to let pedestrians cross the road. And so on. Actually british rirveds are extremely polite to one another and you hardly see any agressiveness at all. In Denmark any gesture is meant as an offence. The flash could be a way of telling you that your light isn't totally in order, but more likely it's a way of saying you suck and/or you should get in to the inner lane.In Denmark rirveds generally do try to warn of others of the police by flashing. But since it is used so often for offensive purpose, you're never really sure so it becomes useless. I've never seen it in the UK, but it would also be pretty pointless. Here the police are required to put up signs if they are operating in an area or if there are speed cameras ahead. And also because cameras have to be announced and their location public it is common to have their locations as an integrated part of your GPS/Routefinder. Generally there is very little policing on the roads, except when required. If there is an accident or similar there will very shortly be a massive presence of police. Also during rush hour there are police presence at every major roundabout.And yeah, Joen, you should definetely get a rirveds license. You'll never regret it. Only drawback is that cars are so friggin expensive in Denmark. If you did move to Sweden you would get a more reasonable deal.

LOL this is a joke.So far he has beaten a CMU team that aellwod over 400 yards per game in defense last year, on top of being only 9-4 in a weak conference.A Notre Dame team that went 7-6 last year, 6-6 in the regular season and pathetically only beat team with a winning record all last year, on top of being overrated as FUCK when it comes to the preseason rankings.The kid is going to get crushed when he plays a REAL team.

By canuck75 October 17, 2011 - 10:47 amYour cmoemnt is hilarious because I do consider this a week where work is secondary to fretting, psyching up etc. I am doing my part by not attending this week and sending my son in my place who has a phenomenal win loss record at the stadium. I do consider the 2005 game the best game I have ever been at, and in hindsight we were probably 10 points weaker than SC that year, so it was a testament to a great effort and the stadium was never louder. This year we are probably 10 points stronger, so lets blow them out! Go. Irish.Well-loved.
